This big boi gyuto has been forged from the legendary Apex Ultra steel(wrought clad san mai), with a subtle olive wood handle. No crazy finishes or crazy materials, just elegant simplicity. The handle is a full tang construction with distal taper in both ways, and fixed with brass pins. With a 4.4mm spine, this blade is a perfect midweight with forward balance.
