This 260x60mm gyuto was forged from a san mai construction consisting of an Apex Ultra steel core at 66hrc, with multi alloy damascus cladding. The handle is curly mango.
This blade has the first etch of its kind: combining a technique i have been using for wrought clad blades to mirror polish to core, with a new finish ive been developing which i call "sora" finish. It brings out all sorts of blue and purple tints in the steel, unique to each blade.
Weight is 235g. The blade has a nice midweight geometry with a sweet taper, but not overly thin tip.
