This is another tamahagane piece, from a different batch. This knife has over 1 million layers. The hamon has gorgeous blue colors, with a handle of yew burl. The bolster is stainless steel. The blade is attached with hot glue, allowing for easy removal for polishing. 190x41mm, laser grind.
 
ABOUT US TARIFFS:
As of lately I have found a way to declare items in a way such that extremely high tariffs are not applied to my packages. The applied tariffs on shipments now should be 10-15%, as opposed to 50%. However, I cannot guarantee that higher charges are not applied as this is out of my control. I do the best I can to declare in such a way that duties are kept to a minimum but the US customs can be a bit unpredictable.
The buyer is responsible for any duties levied, and after they are invoiced by the US customs I cannot take back the package.
If the buyer refuses to pay the import duties, the package will be destroyed. When I do take back the package as a seller, I am invoiced the full duties + return shipment costs + imports back into NL. I learnt this the hard way.
